This blog was started to chronicle my journey into the publishing world. There are posts with book reviews, some with writing tips, and my misadventures in publishing. On this journey of being an author, I like to explore the hot topics of what is happening in the literary world. Since I am less than an expert on everything in the printing industry, I do refer to a lot of professionals in the field. Some are long-time editors, literary agents, and seasoned authors. I encourage you to explore my posts and leave me your opinion on what I wrote.
Some interesting quick facts: I have been writing for more than ten years. I have two published articles, one self-published juvenile fiction book, and many other manuscripts in the works. I consider myself an amateur photographer with one photo published in BEST OF PHOTOGRAPHY 2009 by Photographer’s Forum. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Drury University in English and Writing. I am married and have five wonderful children, one crazy dog, and one lazy cat.
